Great skateboard, not so great remote.

Day one, riding along and accidentally bumped the brake trigger against my leg. Got chucked off the board, fortunately wearing full protection so only minor road rash was suffered. The remote brake trigger slipped off it’s internal spring post causing it to flop (defaults to full brake) upon impact.

Two take aways:
1. Separated brake from throttle seems over engineered and dangerous. I rode for years on my single trigger (rotation style) eskate with zero issues. That said, totally my fault and I’ve since adjusted how I position the remote while riding.
2. Remote build design is flawed. It should take a full disassembly of the remote to remove the spring tension from either brake or throttle, not just a fall. With this design, there should be some sort of fail-safe back to the open brake position not full brake. Maybe a small piece of soft foam to ensure it’s open if the springs preload is lost?

I still love the eskate, just feel like there is room for improvement in the remote.

Bamboo GTR

I really like the unit. It's really fun. But I noticed that when break at higher speeds the breaks sometimes lockup. The 1st time it happened I was thrown off the front of the board and strain my knee. The 2nd time was going quite fast down a hill and took a nice face plant. I have been riding the board quite a bit since I got it and have a pretty good feel for feathering the accelerator and break , so when this happened I was quite shocked. Since then I have done some more research and have seen some reviews where this may have happened to other riders. I
It's got me a little gun shy , but I'm still out riding , but staying away from the steeper hills.

Amazing

Definitely the best electronic skateboard I’ve ever ridden.... the stability of the board at high speeds is unreal and controlling your speed feels incredibly natural... it doesn’t even matter what terrain your on with the all terrain wheels it will just keep pushing forward!
